At the start of the fifth match day of the DAIKIN Handball-Bundesliga, round three will be completed with the rescheduled match between Recken and Kiel. The focus is on Berlin, who have been in crisis recently and are looking to face MT Melsungen and give coach Krickau his first DAIKIN HBL victory.
TSV Hannover-Burgdorf and THW Kiel are both in action twice this week, with the Recken looking to improve their points tally in two home games. After two recent league defeats, champions Füchse Berlin face MT Melsungen on Sunday. The recently formidable VfL Gummersbach travels to Minden for a traditional duel, while Flensburg, who are undefeated alongside Kiel and Magdeburg, are guests at pointless newcomer Bergischer HC – where the weakest defence meets the strongest attack.
