The DAIKIN Handball Bundesliga continues on match day 24 with eight games from Thursday to Monday. Leaders Magdeburg and third-placed Flensburg play at home, while Gummersbach and Lemgo face each other in a clash between the chasing pack and an NRW derby. The Hessen derby will take place in Wetzlar on Sunday. Stuttgart will face record champions Kiel, whom TVB has never beaten. All matches will be broadcast live on Dyn and world-wide on HBL TV.
Two pursuers meet in the 78th NRW derby in Gummersbach, while the bottom team hopes to score points in the 42nd Hessian derby – Stuttgart and Eisenach also want to end their losing streaks. Eisenach is still waiting for its first away win of the season ahead of its away game in Göppingen. The match between Handball Sport Verein Hamburg and Füchse Berlin was brought forward, with the champions and second-placed team winning 36:28 in the Hanseatic city on December 23.
